Managing Director of Operations & Deputy Chief Compliance Officer
Elli is responsible for fund and adviser operations and counterparty management with a focus on compliance.
Before joining Engine No. 1, Elli was director of operations at Passport Capital, LLC, and served in the Prime Brokerage Division at Morgan Stanley, where she held senior roles overseeing the Client Service Team for the firm’s West Coast hedge fund client base. While at Morgan Stanley, Elli was also responsible for the West Coast business consulting efforts for Prime Brokerage. She began her career at Barclays Global Investors as a portfolio accountant within the Index Fund Management Team.
Elli received a BA in Economics and International Relations from the University of California at Davis, prior to attending the University of Chicago, where she graduated with a master’s degree in International Relations.
